Excitement builds among Nintendo's Super Mario Bros fans as trailer for new animated movie is released. Produced by Illumination Entertainment and co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo, the film is set to hit the big screen in the UK on the 7th April.
A star-studded cast of voice actors was revealed back in September 2021. To name a few, the Mario Brothers will be voiced by Chris Pratt as Mario and Charlie Day as Luigi, Princess Peach will be voiced by the talented Anya Taylor, Seth Rogan will voice Donkey Kong.
Screenplay of the film is written by Matthew Fogel who will be hoping to match the success of his other writing credits, The LEGO Movie 2 and Minions: The Rise of Gru. The high anticipation for the film combined with the talent among the credits, suggests popularity of the Super Mario Bros World will soar in 2023.
